"    'You are a little out of your way,' said the elf: 'that is if you are making for the only path across the water and to the house beyond. We will set you right,  but you had best get on foot, until you are over the bridge.   Are you going to stay a bit and sing with us, or will you go straight on?   Supper is preparing over there,' he said.  'I can smell the wood fires for the cooking.
Tired as he was, Bilbo would have liked to stay awhile.  Elvish singing is not a thing to miss, in June under the stars, not if you care for such things.   Also he would have liked to have a few private words with these people that seemed to know his name and all about him, although he had never seen them before.  He thought their opinion of his adventure might be interesting.  Elves know a lot and are wondrous folk for news, and know what is going on among the peoples of the land, as quick as water flows, or quicker."

"Do What Thou Wilt Shall Be The Whole Of The Law

An iv6 Sol 15° Taurus, Luna 22° Virgo Dies Mercurii

Once again I attempted the Dragon asana, this I feel, particularly after finishing this exercise, is the path I should pursue.  I robed and lighted two candles - the blue water dragons and incense.  I then immediately sat down into the dragon and began.  The pain in my toes was at first intense - but I found that a state of mind - or perhaps that no-state, would be entered and I would feel less pain.  The no-state approximates the no-goal frame of mind - I'm finding it hard to write about it - I only neared it - but when approaching it I felt no pain.   Maintained rigidness of body, but my left knee began to slip and I stopped to reposition my self such that I wouldn't slip on my robe.  I thought that a minute or so had passed but found that four had passed.  I re-positioned such that my robe didn't interfere and sat for four more minutes.  Again the invading thoughts brought the pain, this position offers something a bit different than the the Lotus or the God, which I could maintain for an hour in pranayana and asana at one time.  I hazard to guess that I still could, but new growth will come from practicing the "exercises" in this new position.  I need a regular practice I believe - not a restriction but a "program".  The idea of "patience" has been on my mind - the kind noted in Liber LXXI, not the common variety.  I believe that the event of my finding the Equinox III(I) was very important for my growth - quite possibly linked to the Jupiter talisman.  Much has happened since that consecration to put my nose to the grindstone - including a period of "dryness" - a reflective one by dry none the less to drive the point home.  Luckily - I believe I nearly caught myself in a web of success - valuable points but the path continues on - and it's still uphill !
